I don't know about you, but I think the Go International Designer Collection at Target is brilliant! Of course someone like me would think that, right? Wrong. From a marketing stand point its the right move by the designers and Target. There is so much great fashion out there that is not made available to the majority. Bridging this gap would not cheapen the designers line either. In no way has it hurt Rodarte, Zac Posen or Proenza Schouler (just to name a few). They're style is still intact and they have created beautiful pieces that really represent their line. Its about building relationships with people. These designers may have just opened up the industry to future friendships that can only prove to be fruitful.
